To save DVD to PC, u need to have a DVD-Rom drive in your PC that can read the DVD files. Normal cd-rom drive cant read the DVD files. If u have the drive, after you insert the DVD , just go open the content of the DVD and save the individual files that contain the movie or whatever file in the DVD you want to save. You can also try to downlaod software that copy the DVD for u. There is a few where u can download at www.download.com and most is free to try.

DVDs are usually copyright protected, so it is against the law to back them up or copy them in any way.
There are programs around that can do it, but i'm not telling you what they are.
