Do you mean as in hearing? There you are out of luck, as that is an inborn function of your body.
If you are talking about your vocal or singing range, there is a lot that can be done. It's almost impossible to do it over the net, however, so the first big important step is to look for a singing teacher. Your local college or university are good places to start looking, especially if they have a good music department. If not, ask at your church, or find local choruses. Some of them have a trainer as well as a conductor, who helps people improve.
No need to feel bad about your range. NOBODY starts off with much more than an octave and a bit. The training and lessons help.
Best wishes and keep on singing!

Are you talking about your vocal ability?

If your meaning being able to sing high and low notes accurately and smoothly, then the best thing you can do is exercise your vocal chords. This takes practice, yet you can't practice to the point of straining them. I would start out singing something that is easy and doesn't require much effort at first, then step it up a little and sing something that takes just a little bit of straining to get out. Take a Break. Go back and sing it again, and do this until it becomes easier and easier. Then go to another song that is a little harder on you than that one is. Do the same thing, warm up with an easy song, do the harder song and take a break.
Taking breaks are vital, if you don't want to strain your vocal chords to the point you literally can't sing for a couple of days!
