Never has a country been fleeced by such a bunch of lazy arrogant idiots who have lost all sence of reality, its Ok if your an MP on 50k a year with an expense account that fat as well and a 5 per cent pay rise really does mean loads more dosh.
First thing needs doing is the council tax it needs to be replaced with a local sales tax on everything like they got in the states that way you only pay tax to what you can afford (poor man buys a Mini Metro rich man buys a Jag or two) the basis of tax is then fair and after a few months of it you would not notice it.
Next local government needs to push it at the resourses it needs to provide not what the left wing loonies who make up our councils think is good for us.
Why one legged lesbians need their own club house beats me when there are lots of good pubs out there thay can get together in,
Local tax needs to provide only what is essential also a local sales tax would save cash the council would only be chasing the cash from retailers ect so they could sack all the idle loafers who make up the collections department.

Toilet tax. We'll have to pay everytime we flush the toilet. They'll say its to preserve water or something.
People will have to stop eating curries!! Indian takeaways will go out of business! There will be illicit earth closets springing up in every back garden where you can take a crafty crap without The Man finding out!
Constipation will be an all time high as people try to "hold it in"! Bowel problems will go up as a result and we'll be taxed even more to cover the expense to the NHS. This new tax will be a "farting" tax which will be levied everytime you pass wind - its "apparently" to try and preserve the ozone layer (being depleted from all the methane) and discourage people from farting too often.
Sales of beans and sprouts will consequently fall, sellers and producers of sprouts and beans will become unemployed and cost the government more in Jobseekers Allowance (they can't get alternative work because of all the Poles clogging up the job market).
Guess what - more taxes?! We can't win can we?!

Isn't there talk of a tourist tax? Gordon Brown's and John Prescott's latest money-making ruse - a new stealth tax on British holidays.? I'm sure I heard this somewhere! It may already be in force.
Gordon Brown and John Prescott asked former Labour councillor, Sir Michael Lyons, to produce plans for new local taxes; in December, he raised the prospect of a new local levy on England's 16,000 hotels, hostels and bed & breakfasts; Wales and Scotland could also be hit.
This would be on top of existing business rates and VAT on hotel bills. Based on similar taxes in other countries, this could potentially add £100 a week to the cost of a family holiday or visit to Britain's tourist destinations. Less well-off families would be the hardest hit.I believe there have been at least 80 stealth taxes, perhaps his aim is to go for the magic number of 100!!!!!!!!!!!!! No doubt it won't stop there either!!!

It is kind of ridiculous when you think so much of our tax money is squandered on lazy wasters and on a war that a lot of people believe we shouldn't have started in the first place.
The Lib Dems proposed a local income tax in additional to normal income tax. So out of your wages you would have even more tax taken. Let's just be glad they're not likely to get into power. Pigs!
The best thing we can do is vote that tight get out as soon as we have the opportunity. It's quite plain the Mr Brown is vehemently against any kind of fun, success, or enjoying the money we work hard for so we need to get rid of him pronto.
Ok I know that all the parties are as bad as each other when it comes down to it but it's time for a change and hopefully if the Tories get in, they'll start off with good intentions trying to impress. Most of them always do to start with - then we have to get rid of them after ten years to make sure they don't get too big for their boots.
