My personal opinion is she should never have won ,saying that i never watched it.The various parts i seen of in the news she came across as arrogant self obsessed thinking she was better than everybody else and i can understand fully how the house mates would react to her because nobody likes a show-off !
We are all human after all and to me nobody is perfect ,she just thinks she is !

Also think it was one big setup. As if it wasn't for the other housemates reactions she wouldn't have won !

I'm in Wales not England

But I liked Shilpa, I thought she was beautiful classy, intelligent and stylish and a real lady. It was embarassing to see those awful chavs, Jade Goody and the like alongside her. I hope people from outside the UK don't think we're all like them.

I'm very glad Shilpa won! Lots of British people have been checking out her films since she won to find out more about her. She's become really well known over here.

To be fair I think she was a clever girl and pretty false. I am surprised the british public fell into the tabloids little trap. It should have been Jermaine jackson to win but the papers decided they wanted Shilpa to win and lo and behold...The people of Britain voted (or did they??) sorry going off on a tangent here. Shilpa....pretty, intelligent, extremely well mannered and dare I say classy but manipulative and spoilt.

I like her and yes I agree she has all those great qualities. But unfortunately that nowhere fits the criteria to make it in the UK because if you are well mannered, polite and dignified as the answers above show, people consider you to be stuck up. So poor old Shilpa will have to sleep around and sell stories, be foul mouthed, go into rehab, have an addiction of some kind and be photographed snorting coccaine to win over the British public!

I thought she was nice at first and then as her true colours were shown, she was a bit sly and defo a head worker......she knew exactly what way to play the rest of them in the house so she would look good.

I don't think Britain should have been up her bum as much as we were......

Big Brother was shown in Scotland and Wales as well.
Why should the English have the sole right to answer this question?

she is pretty yeah, but i think they are making a little to much fuss over one person, when she signed up for cbb she knew there would be some sort of attack on her so why go on the show.

Without fear of being lynched, and being accused of being rascist, she was stuck up and loved herself. I think I'd fall out with her if I was stuck in a house with her and her holier than thou attitude. I wasn't impressed...
