You can accept it gracefully or grudgingly. But ain't none of us gettin' any younger, and nobody gets out of this life alive.
So the next time somebody asks you to dance, dance. Or if no one asks you, dance anyway. Or just grab the closest man and gitcher boogie on. Light up the room and the men will swarm around you like gypsy moths.
Take heart in this thought - you'll never again be as young as you are now. However you feel now, in ten years you'll wish you felt this good.

I'll be 40 next year. You're six years older than me.
The secret is to go to a spa and get a facial, skin dermabrasion treatment, all over body massage, foot rub, haircut, scalp massage, and the works.
If you treat yourself like this once a month, money is no object. Walking instead of jogging 1/2 hour a day and doing stretches does not hurt. Eat healthy.
Did you know that age 40 is the new 30? You are 35 years old and don't you forget it!!!!

45 is that all. You should start having the time of your life, I assume any kids are grown up, so what if the wrinkles are appearing and the bones ache a bit. You made it to 45 some people dont even get that far

Sure do. I turned 50 last year. You except this because it is part of life. You become more self assured as you get older and see what really is important. My face is more wrinkled than it was 30 years ago, but I appreciate what I have more today. I still have an active mind and love to play and joke around. My body will get older, but my spirit, my soul, never will.Your true beauty comes out as you get older. The beauty that remains with you always.

We don't have to accept the perception of what we think our age group (I'm 48) should look like. But, no doubt, our metabolisms have slowed down, which I believe cause the skin to have a wrinkle effect. But there is overwhelming proof that exercising (aerobics, weight-training, and stretching), nutrition (with emphasis on protein and fibrous carbs, as well as supplements), and proper rest will return us to youth and bring back energy again!
