If you are not 100% convinced that you should do it - then you should NOT do it. A tattoo is painful and permanent, so you should be absolutely ready to go out and get it, with no doubt in your mind. As they say, "if in doubt - don't"!

All tattoos are keys to memories, good, bad and indifferent. Every time someone comments on one, the memory comes back, it gets old real fast. Do Not Do It.
Try a removable one first and you will see where the conversation goes. Even if you hide it, some day and some place someone will see it.

I have two and have not regreted it all. You will regret it thought if you some jackasses name on yur body. One other thing to keep in mind some employers require that you cover them up, for example you put one on your forearm I would hate to wear long sleeves when it is hot.
make sure you check out the place first for cleanllyness and not get one at some big party like HOG ROCK in Cave inRock Illinois

theres nothing wrong with getting a tattoo as long as its tasteful and not some obsene word or demon thing. i have 2 on my shoulder 1 is a butterfly and 1 is a rose and i have NEVER been ashamed of them. dont get someones name on yourself tho ok! You'll more than likely regret that. unless of course you put your moms name or kids name but no i wouldnt put anyones name on my body. Go to a good tattoo shop dont get a homemade one.

well for starters - the bible forbids it totally..
then secondly u must realise the procedure has a few side effects - the needle could have 'the virus' if not properly sanitised, you could also react to the ink.. etc etc
then of course what happens when u lose weight - the items becomes all shrivelled and unsightly...
so in other words -a DONT.. it aint worth it all..

Don't do it
Obviously you are not 100% sure about it
Consider that a tattoo is a form of permanent skin mutilation

Start with something small in a place that can only be seen in private. See how you like this and then decide from this point.

go ahead and get one but get it in a place that it can be concealed. later down the track if you are really happy about it you can choose to get another in a place that can be seen.
eg: get this first one on ur butt, or hip, or boob, or lower back somewhere u can cover it up with clothing
