your body needs food but you know that. but really even more now that your sick you body needs the food and water. however there are foods to stay away from. such as milk, fast food, um really anything from a cow and anything that you have to drive up to a window for. good luck an di hope you feel better soon.

Lol, okay, what "starve a cold and feed a fever" (yes, that is the way it is said) really means is that you should keep yourself warm when you are sick- you feed a fever heat, you starve cold by making it warm. So you should eat, fruits and things with vitamins and lots of fluid are better for you, take some tylenol to bring down the fever, and keep warm. You should also keep watching your temperature, to make sure you do not overheat.

Just a silly myth/saying.
Eat if you feel hungry, don't if you are not. The most important thing is to drink a lot of fluids.

If you are hungry, then eat, BUT don't eat or drink dairy products as I find they can produce more mucus, making breathing difficult. Sorry u are sick, all the best!
