I beleive if the person or people are presented with your point of view it is still there choice to accept or not accept your point of view.
Depending on the subject, some things are just better not arguing about. Especially if you get frustrated. I say "live and let live". As long as no one gets hurt.

I have yet to meet anyone who has radically changed and turned into a complete different person, as we go through life our views may change but I think our basic personalities stay the same

I don't know about leopards and spots, but I do know something about tigers. They can't change their stripes because their skin is striped. As they say "you can look it up".
