try www.mininova.org for movies and tv series. it's really good!
try limewire, kazaa, or ares for songs. i suggest ares, it's user-friendly and free from spam. kazaa is filled with virus attacks. limewire's good too.

The only place you need ever go is isohunt.com, which relies on torrents. Still, it's EXTREMELY easy and fast to use, and coupled with the right torrent dowloader (uTorrent), you'll always get exactly what you want without constant fear of viruses or misnamed files.
You can get software, movies, music albums, games, whatever your heart desires. If isohunt doesn't have it, try another torrent finder like torrents.to.
If you're crazy enough not to want to use a torrent, go for Limewire. You can get the pro version for free if you choose the open-source version. Definitely worth it.
