I read some of the answers above!!!! A woman has to be penetrated by a man and a man has to penetrate a woman to NOT be virgins....does this mean that all the homosexuals who have not been with someone of the opposite sex stay VIRGINS all their lives!!!?????

The technical term for a virgin for both men and women is if the woman has never been penetrated with a penis and for a man if he has never penetrated a womans vagina...However, some people believe that a woman is still a virgin until she breaks her hymen and a man is still a virgin until he cums...Those are both incorrect.
The true definition is the first one I listed. That is a fact. However, some people (mainly women) tell themselves they are still virgins if they allow men to penetrate only halfway.

A VIRGIN IS NOT A ILLNESS IT IS A GOOD THING. I AM A REBORN VIRGIN FEMALE. I AM WAITING FOR THE RIGHT PERSON TO GIVE MY NEW FOUND VIRGINITY TO. A VIRGIN IS A PERSON WHOM HAS NEVER BEEN SEXUALLY ACTIVE, OR HAVE BEEN AND HASN'T BEEN IN SO MANY YEARS. A VIRGIN GIRL HAS NEVER GOTTEN HER CHERRY POPPED AND A VIRGIN GUY HAS NEVER HAD ANY CHERRY. IF YOUR FRIEND IS ASKING YOU THAT QUESTION APPARENTLY HE OR SHE IS A VIRGIN AND IS TRYING TO SEE WHAT YOUR VIEW TO IT WOULD BE. THEY ARE WONDERING IF YOU ARE AGAINST SOMEONE BEING A VIRGIN. TELL THEM THAT IT IS A GOOD THING AND THAT A PERSON SHOULD NOT BE ASHAMED TO BE A VIRGIN, BECAUSE IT IS VERY RARE TO BE A VIRGIN. THIS ALSO IS TRUE FOR SAME SEX RELATIONSHIPS. IF THERE IS A WOMAN AND A WOMAN THEY ARE NOT CONSIDERED VIRGINS BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSIDERED IN A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP, AND THE SAME GOES FOR A MALE AND A MALE. REGARDLESS OF YOUR SEXUAL PREFERENCE IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY ACTIVE YOU ARE NOT VIRGINS

They are both the same thing
a male virgin has not put his penis in a womans vagina and a female virgin has never had a penis in her vagina.
for some reason i have a feeling this will get deleted.

It is the same for both sexes - you have not had intercourse. There is another word meaning about the same thing - celibacy, meaning you are not having sex. It's good you ask questions.
