To reverse evolution by having the least adapted people in our society breed together, and prevent the most adapted people breeding, so that we go back in our evolution? What would we turn out like?

Evolution relies on survival value of genetic traits. To reverse evolution you would have to engineer society so that what you percieved as negative traits conferred greater survival value than positive ones. But then evolution would have worked as it should - it would have selected the traits with greatest survival value, only proving that your perception was at fault.

In reality, many of the things we think of as most positive in society have little survival value (like looks) or are normative and tend back to a median value generation by generation (like intelligence). Success is more to do with wealth than genetic make up in many areas of society - eg education (where rich idiots do better than poor geniuses - I know, I have taught at Cambridge).

its a scary thought, probably correct though, humans would get dumber and probably go back to ape like ways. its probably not a bad idea, at least we would stop destroying the world.
