Sounds like you are in labor as your stomach will feel hard if your contractions are severe enough. You need to count when you are having these "pains" and how far apart they are.
You might want to call your doctor....

Probably braxton hicks. If they are the real deal, then you will know it later. Real ones do not slack off or stop. They gradually get stronger, and more frequent. Braxton hicks can be painful for some, but I'm talking discomfort like cramping. If it's so painful you're yelling, then it's either real, or it is possible your baby just kicked the sh!t out of you (happens to the best of us). I started contrax in the night at 36wks. and thought it was b/h, so I went to sleep. But man, when I woke the next morn, it was like very severe (doubling-over) menstrual cramps. So I went to hosp. and was in real labor! Had my baby that day! try to relax, and just note the timing of your contrax. If it's not bearable, then go to the hosp....if it gets milder and slacks off, then get some sleep, and call your ob in the morning! Good luck

I'm 33 weeks myself, and having pain in the same spot. I've believe it's a minor spinal mis-alignment, from having to sleep on my side all the time (I'm usually a belly sleeper). I also think it's a muscle cramp in your back. I also have pains that are only relieved after I pee, but it doesn't feel like I need to pee when the pain starts.
Good luck sweetie.

Call 911!!!. Have you had any injuries? You could be bleeding internally.
Let's revisit this. I am a veteran Paramedic. If your pain does not subside and your abdomen does not relax, then you could have a serious problem! The dizziness concerns me, if this has not been a problem in the past. This is why internal bleeding is a concern. If you have contractions (back or abdomen) that are regular then you may be in labor. False labor subsides with rest, true labor doesn't. If you have pain that does not go away, dizziness, nausea, sweating, then you could have a serious problem! Abruptio Placenta can occur with or without injury, and is life threatening. I would hope this is not the problem but I have seen things go wrong in a hurry, and would not want that for you!! If things are not resolved quickly, don't mess around! Please. God Bless.

Oh no! Your baby is getting very old (for a baby!) and will pop out soon. He or she might be kicking around in there, and kicking so hard that something's been dislodged. It's most likely your baby's fault (!) but you really should see your doctor. Really. If your waters break, do what you feel is right.

You're having contractions. Call your doctor, time your pains, and possibly get ready to go to the hospital.
Congrats and good luck!

You are pregnant, 35-weeks into it, and you're not expecting this?
Please, call 911 and get to the hospital. Odds are, you're in labor.
