He wasn't rallying no troops. He was looking for public praise. When Bush went he snuck in which showed his intent wasn't totally for publicity. Cheney could have used the phone or internet to show support for the troops. He should have known that he'd be a target because of WHO he is and it was not a good idea to place himself in harms way! He just caused more troops deaths but I'll bet he doesn't take responsibility in the least. He needs to keep his self in the US and stop dogging in the war zone there's no glory in getting killed for a front page story on the enquirer!

So another American soldier is killed by Cheney's grandstanding play, eh? What a glorious sacrifice, to die for Dick Cheney. Almost as dying for George Bush. Now that's a great honor.

Yeah, but wouldn't it have been better if Afghanistan would have been secured a long time ago? That way none of the US Soldiers that were killed, due to the attempt on Cheney's life, wouldn't have been. That would have been better. Don't you think?

I'm not a fan at all, but I'm glad he's OK. wouldn't wish the fate of over 3000 troops on him, or anyone else.

Cheney is getting proficient at dodging alot of things, particularly scandals & war critics. "Lucky" isn't the word for it. I'd use the word, "Shyster".

I disagree with Bush and Cheney on almost everything, but I would never wish physical harm. Yes, that is good news he's ok!
