like i wanted to invest 100000 and i was told that i would get 16412 amount on maturity after 590 days.......how did this 16412 come up?

they have calculated at 8% rate of interest, for the first year what we had earned as interest in the second year there they give interest for this interest amount
S.I= Principal*8/100
