but i used my friends credit card to open the account and now i dont know if i can cancel it as i no longer know the card details.?

you may be able too if you explain your predicament to customer service and tell them that charge was not authorized by the card holder and your a minor and you were unclear that you had to cancel, and didn't get to choose to pay each month.
minors can not sign any legally binding documents or agreements. and if they do they are totally void.

just do it through the bank, ask them to cancel it for you...

why did you use your friends credit card? i used my mums and i just pay her every month for it!
