Shaq - hard to say this but I think people are expecting to much out of the big fella these days. His best work is behind him and unless D.Wade gets back before the playoffs start which I know is not likely, the Heat won't be there.
Ben Wallace - all those $$$ and he just isn't the player he was in Detroit under Larry Brown. The Bulls just aren't the savvy, slow it down defensive outfit that Wallace needs to play with and the don't have another big unit to cover his back like he did in mo town. Getting Gasol would have helped Wallace to no end.
Mike Bibby - I think this one speaks for itself. selfish, what else can I say, won't lead you to the promised land thats for sure.
The Kandi Man - I know this guy has been copping bad raps his whole career and honestly its all due! Worst number one pick ever???? I'll let him and nervous pervis fight that one out.
Damon Jones - utterly useless, what does this guy bring to a team?? If he ain't hittin a 3 what are you doing?? No wonder the cavs ain't going no where.

Shaq, for obvious reasons. He was previously one of the most dominant centers to play the game, but he's past his prime, and doesn't have the energy to stay up with the young guys. Expect this to be his last, or second to last season.
Lebron James, Last year, Lebron was amazing, he was just a spectacle and could deliver on many levels. This year... Not so much. His numbers are down, turnovers are up, and more. Some people claim he doesn't have a good supporting cast in Cleveland, which, yes is true, but in previous years that didn't seem to matter to Lebron. Why is this a factor all of a sudden? Why is this year any different? There is no real explanation. Unless he's "saving himself" for the playoffs, which I would just say is a complete bonehead move, I can't think of a good reason.
Chris Webber. In my opinion, Chris Webber is the epitome of an over rated jack ***. He gets paid nearly 20 million a year to do the very little he does. When he was younger, sure, maybe he deserved what he got paid then, when he was athletic and agile, and didn't have the attitude or inflated ego to accompany his lack of a decent post game. In Philly, he couldn't get along with his coach, or teammates, nor would he take criticism, thus his poor team play, selfish attitude, and bad results.
Brian Scalabrine- "Brian who?" He's a reserve for the Celtics, earning 3 million a year to do nearly nothing. Doc Rivers, Celtics coach has started Brian on more than one occasion, and I have never seen a worse decision watching my boys in green. Scal can't post up, can BARELY hit the open shot (I don't care what his numbers say, watch the damn games), and all he's really good for is clapping and cheering on his teammates. Granted, he's an excellent clapper, great form, but still. I could clap for 3 mil a year. Hell, I'd do it for 2! Not 1 though, 2 million a year to clap sounds good to me. Scalabrine should not be allowed into the games, and Doc Rivers is a fool for allowing him to play.
Wally Sczerbiak (I watch every Celtics game, that's why I've got two of them on here)- The Wally Sczerbiak for Ricky Davis trade was so retarded, I though Rick Pitino was back coaching the C's. Wally puts up decent numbers, hell, he's the C's second leading scorer, so why is he overrated? Wally is constantly riddled by ankle injuries, or something of the like, and, when in the games, I swear he goes 0 for 10 in the first half, then starts hitting them in the second. Despite all the Tommy Points he gets he can't hit in the first half, and Doc Rivers relies too much on him to produce at a level he can't produce at, yet they think he can. He is overrated.

Ben Wallace- David Lee has better stats than him, why do people say Big Ben is good? He should have to pay teams to allow him to play.
Steve Nash- He is a good player, but he only gets all the assists he gets because the team around him is good and the offense is built for a PG who passes, nothing special about Nash himself. If Brevin Knight(7 apg) was on the Suns instead of Nash he would win MVP also. Think about it.
Dirk- He is a great player, but should not be in the MVP race. He has good stats and plays well. But there are a lot of good players on the Mavs who could step in and take over if Dirk was out. MVP= Most Valuable Player, the MVP is supposed to be the person who means more to their team than any other person means to their own team. Dirk could leave and the Mavs would still be a good team, that should take him out of the running for MVP.
AK47- He has lost his offensive AND defensive dominance, yet people still saying he is a good player. He was not overrated last year, but his numbers dropped.
Can't think of anyone else.

The players that most often get overrated are the ones that get a chance to put up a lot of shots, meaning they can average 18-20 pts per game, but with 18-20 shots attempted per game. The points per game makes it look like they are a star, but once they get in a situation where they cannot hoist up so many shots, you see how terribly inefficient they are, and plus shooters usually cannot defend, and you see them for a mediocre NBA player. Here's my five overrated players:
1. Jason Richardson
2. Antoine Walker
3. Kenyon Martin
4. Darius Miles
5. Raymond Felton

Do some of you even watch basketball? Lebron overrated? Are you serious, not reached his true potential? The guy should still be in college!!!!!!!! C'mon!!
1) Shaq, always been overrated. Just been so much bigger than everyone else and pushes them out of the way.
2) Vince Carter. Love to watch him fly, but seriously overrated.
3) Ray Allen. Talk about not reaching potential.
4) Yao Ming
5) Carmello Anthony. He has potential, but until he learns there are others playing with him he will always be overrated.

Alright--excluding rookies and players without time to reach their potential.
C- Eddy Curry. This guy couldn't clean glass with Windex.
PF- Pau Gasol. There's a reason Chicago did not really go after him.
SF- Peja Stojakovic. Great shooter as long as it isn't the playoffs.
SG- Vince Carter. So many points, so many losses.
PG- Baron Davis. Don't know if he's really overrated anymore. People seem to have caught on to the fact that he does not make his teammates better.

no longer even the most of Kobe's haters might want to consider that. How do you win 5 rings being a nasty decision maker, Kobe performed with scrubs for like 4 years (smush Pakers, walton, Kwame Brown) who's he meant to bypass the ball to? at the same time as he were given extra useful teammates his stats more suitable significantly so a lengthy way as assists is taken into consideration Kobe is actual one in each of the best basketball participant, maximum suitable footwork contained in the game, is prevalent with at the same time as to bypass and at the same time as to take over (unlike Lebron), maximum suitable nearer. What you're saying would not make any sense, how can he be washed up and be the NBA 2d scorer, washed up playes do not score like Kobe, Vince Carter, T-Mac, Iverson etc the position are they now? those adult males are washed up, Kobe nevertheless taking section in at a extreme factor.

Ben Wallace. Chicago won't let him wear a head band and he is still pouting over it. PLUS, he really NEEDS that head band.
Kobe Bryant. Ball hogging wife cheater.
LeBron James. Yet to prove a thing.
Jason Kidd. What a BAD kid.
The Shaq Man. Grow up and retire. And lose some weight, man!
Honorable mention. Sprewell. WHY is he even allowed to play in the NBA?

McGrady- lately, not the player he was.
Steve Francis- not sue if he is overrated, but he definitely is not as good.
Micheal Finley- From a Jordan contract to a Scrub
LeBron James- I love him but he hasn't reached his true, expected potential
Yao Ming- flaky, unhealthy, and not as dominant as the rsuty Shaq.
I wanna say Iverson but give him time in Denver, Shaq but he is old, Peja just cause, Paul Pierce, and Jermaine O'neal but he doesnt have anybody to play with.

lebron james- he can't shoot free throws and turns the ball over too much. he is said to be the best ever by many people but michael jordan would kill him
mike bibby-everyone already knows this one. he doesnt pass and all he does is shoot and it wouldnt be that bad if he didnt have such a low shooting percentage
robert horry-he makes all these clutch shots and people say he is so awesome because of that. he is a role player so no ones expects him to make the shot which also means if he misses no one will remeber. i think that he has made the most playoff threee point shots ever but he shot terrible during that time and didnt help his team that much
jason kidd. people think that it is so good to have a triple double but his triple doubles are so small. 12 points 8 boards 8 assists that is not that good at all
that is all i can think of at the moment
