And down below to learn about what abortion is and how it is done, plus to learn if it is right for you.

Included in both websites are phone numbers so that you find your local branches.
My advice for you is to take this opportunity to analyze your relationships, and to learn about contraceptive methods available so that you don't have to go through this experience again.
Please, be careful. And be safe.

well i am not here to judge you i am against abortions though there are many couples out there that would love to have a baby if you don't wanna keep it. having and abortion is a big decision to make(especially alone) and it will haunt you for the rest of your life to know that you made the choice to terminate the life of an innocent little person; your child. if you cant handle a baby right now that is fine but give the child a chance to live and be loved by a family even if its not by your own. and there are open adoptions where the mother of the child can still be a part of its life. They just live with another family. Please think about the decision you are making. there are many choices out there make the right one for you and you son or daughter.

your 16 the best thing for you is to not have a child you have many options. you can call planned parenthood you should be able to find their number on the internet. but it would be best for your family to know. cuz after a abortion (or DNC) you cant really do anything for 6 weeks...think twice and talk it out.

I was in your shoes almost 7 years ago. I found out I was pregnant during grade 11 I went to my school nurse who set me up with a doctors appointment. My BF and I went, Unknown to us the high school had set me up for an abortion!! I was mortified!!! My first thought was my parents, I was assured that the school would make it look like I was at an activity for one of my classes....After a long talk and a few curse words my BF (now husband) and I decided to come clean with our parents and have our child...I thought I was old enough for sex time to grow up and become a mom!! I look at my daughter everyday and thank GOD I didn't abort. I don't think I could live with myself, we almost went through with it, but after long thought its murder. Whatever you decide make sure you have no doubts once its done you have to live with that decision FOREVER.....Good Luck to you but please think long and hard, you don't want to regret this decision for the rest of your life!!! Feel free to email me

not anymore... i think they passed the law that says that anyone under 18 seeking medical care in the form of abortions/prenatal care, they have to tell your parents.
it won't be as bad as it seems, though... your parents love you and they would never kill you... they might be mad, but eventually that will fade... and there are safety houses for younger women who have no one... free prenatal care too... and if you can't raise the baby yourself, don't forget there are tons of families out there looking to adopt a little baby!!

Yes, do a search for "Planned Parenthood", they have confidentality agreements etc and will not inform your parents. They also do procedures for cheap or free depending on your income. Good luck.
