Why would my laptop all of the sudden stop recognizing any wireless networks, and how do I fix?

I went to control panel and it says I have to enable it at the wireless button but does not tell me where that is. Any Idea?

in the control panel you can find a option
called wireless network
go there and click on the wireless you have enable
and click stop using it or disable it

Is the wireless switch on?
If it is on, right click on wireless network icon in the notification area and hit repair.
