I Say, only Chikku Bukku Chikku Bukku song and dance made him popular. Otherwise, he cannot reach this market place.

You are wrong. may be that he entered the film world by fluke.but his direction cannot be criticised. he is now a highly talented director,who has gained more by experience.his choice for the hero character was prabhudeva and for the music, rahman.could you bet a very popular hit song or versatile dancing and acting would make a director success full. chtiram pesudhadi, with a very huge hit song went empty in theatres.

Very true. He owes his success to A.r. rahman. Same way mani ratnam also got a boost with Illayaraja and a.r.rahman's music.
