for me... hmm.. a true friend is similar to your best enemy.. a rival.. hope you get the meaning.. ^_^ It is not about always being there for you.. or being true to you.. for me thats not a true friend is... I know it sounds ironic.. but for me, it is really like that.. sorry...

A true friend is someone who will stick by you through thick and thin, no matter what. I recently witnessed someone going through a bad patch with their marriage and the "true friend" of the wife was nowhere to be seen. Later the wife found out that the "true friend" had latched on to her husband and was using him financially. Now the husband and wife are back together and the "true friend" is still nowhere to be seen. The wife, now realises that the only true friend a person can have is Jesus, as men can never be depended on, only Jesus can.

A friend with help you move, a True Friend will help you move a body!!! That's a joke, but rings true.
A true friend is some who excepts you for who you are and doesn't judge you or criticize you. They love and respect you would do anything for you under any circumstances.

oh :) a true friend doesnt judge or stereotype u :D but loves u for who u truly are :D whehehe
n ur may or may not share the same interests n all, but boy true friends sure do love to spend time studying together or having sleepovers at each other houses [i tink ur Americans love to do that right? In Singapore, its not in our culture :) we just hang around during recess time n after school, we'll hang out at shopping malls doing homeworks at MacDonalds etc etc] :D n we love going to beaches, like Sentosa, see girls, or for ur girls, oogle at cute guys :D haha :)
True friends may or may not always be there for each other, but dont blame him or her, we all must have our own personal time too :) A true friend respects u, and understands ur situations on why ur guys cant meet up or anything likewise :)
One last thing, a true friend never backstab u or run away when she sees u or get sick of u :) but will stand up for u wen u get bullied by ur other peers :D

I have a friend that has stuck by me thru thick and thin, and I with her. We have argued at times, but true friendship survives that. I can tell her anything and vice versa and know that what is said between us stays that way. We both have family in jail which is very stressful and without her I prob. would not have kept going in this world. A true friend never judges

a true friend is a person that you are comfortable to go anywhere with that peron
a true friend sharing his or his opinion and advice to you.
a true friend make you happy when you are sad or loonely.

a true friend is the one who always there to help u, to give an advise wen u have a problem, honest, thoughtful, always making u smile wen ur sad and etc.....etc........etc.........
