It's true that war is terrorism, to win you must terrorize your opposition to such a degree that they can no longer sustain the fight, that is why the war on terrorism can never be won. A perfect solution for the military industrial complex, a secret war that you can't ask questions about ( lest you aid the enemy by questioning) that cannot be won and so must last forever and swallow huge amounts of money to buy ever more advanced weapons to fight a shadowy enemy. Better than the cold war because, it ended. Our whole system is based on having an enemy without one, what use would we put our tax dollars to?

Lets try a little realism. There are people in the world today that kill innocent people just because they do not believe in a religion. They blow themselves up and many innocent others without cause and without warning. The world cannot condone this behavior without a reaction to it. To declare war on this action is justified to defeat it. Some do not have the stomach to see it through , others know that it must be defeated or civilization as we know it today will be gone.

Good question. You can't defeat terrorism buy force alone. We have failed this and Israel did too. But you can't beat it either when the UN recognizes Hezbollah as a soveriegn nation as they did recently by sticking their nose into Israeli business. Lebannon should have been held accountable. I don't support it by any means, but terrorists are like roaches, they will probably survive a nuclear war.

You look puzzled, terrorism is a tactic, not an ideology. you will not be able to declare conflict on a word. And it is tactic practised by skill of common armies much extra oftentimes than by skill of insurgents or ordinary forces. All those "criminal formalities" carry on with no remember if in a declared conflict or not, so i don't in all probability see your ingredient in any case. "Kill each and all of the undesirable adult males" in basic terms works in Hollywood video clips. actual existence is lots extra complicated. One guy's terrorist is yet another guy's Freedom Fighter.
