Hmm.. this doesn't sound right to me, there is no set abbreviation for this. In some other countries using other language, these salutations are used together (for example, in German). However, in English you would never state both of these one after the other when addressing a person. You would either say Dear Professor X or Dear Doctor X.
Abbreviation for Assistant Professor is sometimes Asst Prof
and for Doctor it is Dr. But I don't think that's what you were asking for. If you're addressing a letter, just say Professor or Doctor. Oh, and in that case, leave out the "Assistant" part.
In the US, if the person has a PhD and teaches then use Professor. If the person has PhD, but doesn't teach then use Doctor.
