I recently joined Ebay this january and started active paticipation in their activities just this past week. Now I have won two items I mistakenly bid for without really needing them. I am at a loss regarding what to do as one of the sellers already has been sending me threats that he would give me a negative feedback!

Feedback is essential on ebay. It cost sellers money to post their items, and when you bid and don't pay they are losing money. I hope that you resolve your problem with the seller, because if you don't then you are going to be negged. When you accumulate alot of negative feedback sellers will not sell to you and eventually ebay will close your account.

I've been kicked off Ebay four times. Back when you didn't need a credit card to register, just an email address. Twice for not paying, then I bidded for my own items thus both accounts were suspended. You can't get kicked off for negative feedbacks, some sellers have over 1000 negatives. But if you don't pay the seller can tell ebay, they most likely would because that's the only way Ebay refunds their listing fee. If you're reported 3 times then they kick you off. Sellers threaten all the time but there's nothing to be afraid about, leaving a negative and reporting you is all they can do. Watch out though if you get reported 3 times they suspend your account.

wittybaby,

"I am at a loss regarding what to do"

really? don't bid if you can't pay! pretty simple!

not only can your sellers leave you negative feedback, but they can also report you as NON PAYING BIDDER. get a few of these and your time on ebay will be very short.

PAY YOUR SELLERS!!

What you might do is offer the seller the listing fee if he will not give you a negative feed back and see if that will do any good.

You need to go ahead and pay for the items or send them back. You should not be bidding for things you dont really need.
