on here or 360, and pretend it was really you? I wouldn't...I'm secure with who i really am...but i know some people do, so, would you? and what do you think of the people that trick others with fake pics?

I think it is pretty pathetic. I used to use my real pic even on here, but then people started using it to clone me and ask mean questions, so now I just use some pic that appeals to me for some reason. Whether cuz I think it is funny or cool or whatever (this one is a portrait by my favorite artist.) I have the real pics of me on 360. I would rather just post like an avatar or something if I didn't want to put a picture of myself. Using someone else's pictures is just sad sad sad.

I have the pics of the "real me" on my 360 too. I like the way I look, I'm just a regular looking 38 year old who digs heavy metal. I use this little avatar pic, because I think it's unusual and cute. Some of the pics on my 360 are for "mature viewers", some of me, some not.
What I think is funny, is how many of the guys on here beleive that the sexy, fake avatar "really" is the chick they are flirting with. Silly Fools!LOL

I wouldn't use a fake picture , the one I had on my personals was a few years out of date though, but I haven't changed that much. I think some people are afraid (young people) that contacts may not always be who they claim to be. If you are not going to ever meet the person off line does it really matter if it isn't a real picture. You can be anyone you like on the Internet isn't that part of the fun..

I am using my own pic everywhere I am creating my profile. I feel like using that only. I've got my fake IDs and Images, but I use them at some other places. Wherever I'm Gaurav Brahmbhatt, I'll use my original pic only.
I don't mind ppl using fake ones as I'm also one of them. But if you're not happy with showing your face, why are you using your name out here ppl???
I don't play hide tide with anyone.

No i wouldnt use fake pics as im happy with who i am but i suppose i can see why people do it.If they are insecure they can be who they want to be for a while.

I do use a fake picture,my avatar.
I wouldn't use my real picture for obvious reasons but my avatar is the closest likeness I could get.

I'm not tricking anyone, It's obvious i'm not Clint Eastwood. The people who ask get to see the real me. I have nothing worth hiding. I just don't like to force my mug on anyone ;)
