Is it economic, psychological, philosophical? Is it something best done alone, with a friend, in public? Should you share it, sell it, or keep it to yourself? Do you know what it is, think you know what it is, or do you think it's unknowable. Will you take this seriously; what, do you think this is a joke? or will you just try to answer as well as you can?

Since this is the only moment of time I can be sure of, the question has to be of an immediate nature. Economics is all about choices and how to make the best choice. So, being a student of economics, I would ask "How can I best spend the next moment of time?" In other words... make the most of what little time we have on this earth... but to do so, we have to decide what brings us the most 'utility' which is another word for happiness. To waste this choice and just 'go with the flow' is to my mind, a slap in the face to the majority in this world who have no such luxury of choice.

Peace

The most important questions have to do with our values; in other words, the most important question is, "What is most important?"

Is it truth? Is it happiness? Is it freedom? Is it raising four times the big blind when you have pocket kings under the gun? These things affect the decisions we make, and determine how we decide what is "good" or "bad."

Yes "WHAT" is the most important question we have to ask to ourselves. If we are happy or sad or suffering or prospering, just think and analyse - because of "What" ? and decide whether to go or not to go that way again.

The most important question can not be answer because of the limited human ability to communicate the question and answer (i.e. we are limited to our perception of reality). Therefore, the greatest question, which is limited to our human perception, is: What do we NOT know?

The question I always ask myself is "Am I having, or soon to be having, a good time?" If the answer is no, I'm prone to leave.
