Do you need at least a 3.50 GPA to get into a pharmacy school? I'm currently Biology major in my second year. I overheard the college dean saying that students who got into pharmacy school this year earned 3.50 GPAS!! @_@ So if you get below a 3.50, such as 3.40, are you pretty much disqualified by the admission officer?

It really depends on the school. 3.5 is what you're shooting for. No, it's not a hard line. A 3.4 is close and many schools have an average that's closer to 3.4 than 3.5.

To be honest, if you apply to enough schools, I really wouldn't start to get scared until you're below the 3.0 level. Your chances aren't totally shot, but things are starting to get real dicey at that level.

Overall average entrance GPAs for pharmacy students is closer to 3.4. It really depends on the school.
