My husband came home around 4pm, got his golf shoes, changed his shirt, and said he was going to go play golf with a friend and he'll be home in a couple of hours. I go to the gym around 7 and he came home 20 minutes before I left. He used to plan going golfing with a buddy and got up around 9am and was gone most of the day. He never would answer his cell when we went then because he said it was rude when playing but I was pregnant at the time and he left it on after I asked in case of emergency. Today, I'm not pregnant and yet he answered his phone. It was too quiet for him to be outside, yet he talked in an hushed voice. Something doesn't feel right with me and I was wondering, is it really possible to golf in less than 3 hours???

If you think about it, takes about 20 to 30 min to get to the course, sign in and pay, get your cart (i went once, it seemed like forever to start) makes me wonder if he even played at all. Makes me wonder if he went through all the effort for nothing! Makes me wonder...I've never thought about something like this so hard! Trying not to let it bother me but that only makes it about 2 hours of golf time to go through all that!!

It is possible to play 9 holes in less than 3 hours. And even that takes at least 2.5 if he is alone.

There is no way in the world he did 18 holes in less than 3 hours unless he had the entire course to himself which is very doubtful.
That takes 5 to 6 hours minimum.

For the record I hope all is well and goes well and nothing becomes of it because there's nothing more important than family.

Regarding your most recent comments: If he is a regular at that particular course than all of that stuff will be ready to go. You don't have to wait for all that stuff any more, but that's if he's a regular. The big question is how many holes will he say he played. If he says 9 or he just went to hit some balls then it's possible. If he say 18 holes then we have a problem.

I'm really hoping he went just to get some swings in and answered the phone in the mens room or shower.

Hi, sweetie. I have agree with Mr.Clutch here. There's no way he did 18 holes in under 2 hours.

He could get in 9 holes around 2.5 to 3 at a very high pace with basically no one on the course which is highly improbable.

If he was only playing 9 holes it is definitely possible to play in under 3 hours - but if youre worried confront him with your suspicion, rather than let it annoy you and not say anything

I don't know but I would be more sure before I asked. Do some checking and be more aware of what is going on....sounds like you are on that road already. Good Luck.

next time he pulls this crap...heres what you do... without his knowing, duct tape a 1inch by 1inch piece of white cloth to the bottom of his shoe. check it when he gets back, no grass stains, no golf. 8-0
