First of all during that time there weren't that many other nationalites other than Black and Indian in the South, but they didn't have to abide by the rules of the Jim Crowe Laws. Notice the name. It is a derogatory thing toward the blacks.

In theory, the Jim Crow laws only applied to Blacks (Afro-Americans) in the American South. They were an underhanded attempt to keep Blacks as second-classs citizens in a society where slavery was no longer legal.

However, many Afro-Americans had appreciable amounts of White and / or Native American blood in them too. These people were also subject to the Jim Crow laws even though more of their ancestry may actually have been White or Native American instead.

From what I've read, Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King both had some White European ancestry which included even some Irish. Nevertheless, people like them still found themselves segregated in the South because of Jim Crow laws which said that anyone with even the smallest amount of Black (or African)ancestry was Black.

There were no Orientals to speak of, living in the South at the time of the Jim Crow laws. Japanese and Filipino-Americans didn't really begin moving to any of these states until at least the 1950's. "Mongoloid" is a term that you have to be careful about using when talking about racial groups . It's not very accurate.
In a sense, the only true Mongoloids or Mongolians are the people who actually live in Mongolia. Neither the Chinese nor the American Indians appear to be closely related to the Mongols based on what modern linguistic and genetic studies show.

Jim Crowe laws applied in the south, and officially did not apply to Asians. However, in California there were laws which prohibited Asians from obtaining US citizenship. As non-citizens they were also not allowed to own property in the United States. Only their kids could become citizens.

Best advice is to ask a local attorney. Most will NOT charge for a first visit.
