Well, not exactly answering your question. But I suggest that other jewerelly can be very pretty too. I like purple gold, very exclusively in my country, Singapore. It's elegant and pretty. You never know what these industries can do. They can fake some official certificates and claim that the diamonds do not come from slave labor.

I don't know where you live, but diamonds mined here in Canada have a registration number laser etched onto them that is only visible under magnification (or so I understand).

Apparently some diamonds have a tiny etching on them that shows where they come from. This can probably be faked though.
