Lol yea it depends on how many sides it has etc, i wudnt pick it up if its a wet kind of food, only dry, and I def. would if it was the last of something delicious i was eating and ONLY if its in my house- my kitchen and my room (both tiled) I've done this with things like chicken wings...
I would probably even do it at 10 seconds...shhhhh!

Five seconds or a millisecond - The amount of time food is on the floor doesn't matter. If it's on the floor, it's on the floor. I'm personally not a germaphobe, but "germs" don't wait for the precious little "five seconds."

It's not how many seconds, it's how many sides your food has. For 2-sided food, don't bother. If your food is cut like a diamond or disco ball, maybe it's ok.
I never saw meatloaf with such a radiant inner fire.

It all depend on where it was dropped,if i drop it in my home I would probably pick it up and eat it,but if it falls in dirt or just somewhere nasty,I would just leave it be!Well unless it was the last bite of something really good..haha!!

Heck yes. I'm a clumsy mofo and I drop food all the time. If I didn't pick it up, dust it off, and eat it, I'd probably starve.
