Television is a better place to start. Complete strangers rarely ever get cast in movies. Prove your ability in television work and move on to movies. To convince studios to hire you for a role, just be confident and show your stuff. If you know you rock, go into an audition with that mindset and you are good.

Even the biggest and most famous actors were unknowns at one time. All you can do is try, try again. It wouldn't hurt to have some professional photos done though. Good luck.

Yep to a "seriously audition" but no, to get a part for TV series during "Pilot Week" is a mixed bag.

sometimes they want a greenie to play some wide eyed innocent, or a never seen actor to seperate from reality. actually being able to act and have a look is good.
