True. It conceals all our deepest thoughts and things we don't want people to know.

If that statement is true, then anything we write we obviously have the courage to do so, so then it is not worth writing. The statement has to be true, but it cannot be proven, so it's pointless. But if it's pointless, then why are we doing so much writing?

false... some people just don't have what it takes to write a good book. I suppose successful writers take risks, but they aren't necessarily autobiographical, or even take any unusual courage to write... some people are just gifted writers and storytellers.

OMG! THAT IS SOOOOO TRUE! sorry for being really enthusiastic, but i was bursting when i saw this question. Yes its very VERY true for me, i mean, if you lived my life, there really was heaps in my life, mean, lazy (literaly) relatives (my uncle said when he came here, "why should i work to get wat i need? if theres stuff to supply you(ie my dad) then there would be stuff to supply my needs too." my aunt said she quit her "tiring, hard work and long hours job folding clothes for a dry cleaner" job (ooo very hard) and wants to get an easy job. they take half of our stuff we get from flemmington and don't pay. AND i had cancer before... and survived, been (almost) all the way around the world and.... lots of sad, funny, mean (my dad) things in my life but i can't write it or i'd get into trouble. Plus i can't be bothered.
so.
TRUE. VERY TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i understand but think i've broke through or am prepared to. i try to just write with total self interest and don't expect to publish.

we're always concerned with the audience, or being cliche, or what family would think, you just have to write whatever you want.

No, not really. It's a story after all; it doesn't have to have anything to do with the author.
