What major gym's provide the training to become employed as a certified personal trainer?

i need to know before i go ahead to and get certified on my own.

If you live in NYC, I only know about my town; try any gym run by the city parks dept. There was a program at a facility called Hansboro it is in Harlem. The city has several gyms try them all. Ask at your local parks dept. in your town. Also, several continuing education venues offer classes.

I never heard of a major gym training before they hire you. You would need to go into that kind of position with the education, training, and certification in place. Good luck.
