What ever you want the naming of a baby is what the name means and if you like it or how will the baby be comfortable with it now days you can't name a baby by race.
i am a mother of a mixed daughter she is now 26
her name is Lavena because of what it ment can't really remember but she knows see how it usually end up not remembering. later

What is the importance of the child being mixed? Mixed with what? I mean if it is part Spanish, are you wanting a name that has a Spanish background?

I guess that depends on which ethnicity you identify more with, and how you will be raising your child. Me personally, i don't think there are"white" names or "black" names. It's all just a matter of the parents particular taste. Good Luck!

What exactly IS a 'mixed baby'? I thought we are all born human. But to answer your question, Michael is a good name for boys, so are David, Chance, Shawn, Patrick, Joshua and thousands of others.
