Your pizzas look mighty delicious! I'll be sure to stop by. I would suggest perhaps you advertise in all the local free newpapers..."Studio City Sun", "Sherman Oaks Sun". The LA Weekly has a restaurant issue once a year. You should advertise there or try to get a write up. You should try and get Zagat Rated and make sure you have reviews online in places like Citysearch.com and Gayot.
Also, perhaps it's worth hiring a publicist to contact the LA Times, Los Angeles Magazine and Jonathan Gold from LA Weekly to try and get some features or reviews written about your place.
Have a look out for community events too. Maybe you can set up a booth at a local Farmer's Market or something at Los Angeles Valley College when they host events.

Send invitations out to local food critics to let them know you're open.
You can also see about contacting local media personalities, radio and tv, about your store.
If you can afford to do so, send out special offers in the mail, especially through one of those multi-flier packs.
You could also set up to do some sample giveaways to people passing by outside. Hand out a coupon for a free drink or a free dessert with a meal with the sample.

hey perhaps make a call out to local artists who would like to hang their work on the walls..... then have an opening and well people may buy food and get to know about your restaurant.... also the call for work will generate some name recognition.

Have some yard signs silkscreened (cheapest way) and put them up. Somewhere near the restaurant with an arrow pointing and Now Open!
I'm a designer, email me if you want me to set one up for you. (I'm bored, no charge)
A yard sign is 18''x24'' standard.
