Rick Hautala, I have long suspected that he is really Stephen King writing under a pseudo moniker. He even sprinkles in clues that a true King fan will find.

Peter Straub, Joyce Carol Oates, Poppy Z. Brite, Douglas Clegg, Richard Laymon, Tom Piccirilli, the guys from Leisure Horror. There's a lot of them, I can't single them out right now.

i havent read to many others myself because stephen king is my fav but i hear from everybody that clive barker is really good.
