Please answer these questions
a. Is this ok together and will it protect me.
Prevx is considered "Intrusion Detection" and will coexist peacefully with an existing AV. During the trial, Prevx will do an adequate job of protecting you.
b.Should I remove prevx 1 (will not be getting buy version in 30 days) or keep till then.
No harm in using it till the trial ends
c. If I remove prevx1, will the problem with win antivirus come back?
No, but I would still delete the quarantined files prior to removing Prevx
d. Am I desparately missing anything?
Maybe. If you are only using the free versions of AVG Anti-Spyware and Ad-Aware, you are missing an active spyware guard.
You can use Pest Patrol for free by following this link on my site:
http://malwaremedic.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi?board=AntiSpyware&action=display&num=1144589291
At the link is the download link and complete configuration and usage instructions.
Glad to see you are using Spywareblaster to block some baddies. Be sure to check for updates weekly, and don't forget to enable protection for the updates. :) Since it's protection is done by block lists it will not conflict with any protection program.
As for AVG Anti-Spyware and Ad-Aware, if you have the free versions that offers no active guard there won't be any conflicts there either. I assume you are using the free version of both.
@ Vote Me, I'd use the free versions of AVG or AntiVir before I would use McAfee if McAfee was free. I hunt malware and I know who always needs the the infections I find submitted to them and McAfee is always on my "need" list.
Best regards,
Windsor

No security program catches everything, and no security program has all the features you could want. Many different kinds of programs is a Very Good Idea. AVG is good for anti virus, Ad-Aware is very solid, but it cannot be scheduled to run at a set time. Don't know about Spywareblaster, but as for Previx 1: there is so much good free stuff, paying for things is almost silly. Download Spybot -it is free, and it has an immunize feature- there are some 16,000 bits of malware it will stop you from getting in the first place. It also can be scheduled to run completely in the background with the advanced settings.

If the AVG Antispyware is the pay version then you should be in good shape without Prevx 1. If it is not the pay version then I recommend you get Windows Defender. It is very good.
You do not need Prevx to deal with winantivirus. This is installed by a Vundo Trojan. It is suspected that the WinAntiVirus exploits a flaw in older versions of Java. Make sure you have the latest version of Java. Remove all older versions in Add/Remove Programs.
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp
Here is the free removal for the Vundo Trojan problem.
The procedure should fix Vundo-based Winfixer(WinAntiSpyware, WinAntiVirus, Blackworm, Amaena)problems.
Please download Atribune's VundoFix.exe (version 4.2.71 [as of 21 April '06], or later), from
http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4
and save it to your desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK Note: If VundoFix does not reopen after a minute (or two), then you should skip-over the "Run as a task" step, and continue-on to the following steps to SCAN and REMOVE.
When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.

Please note that I am a Dell tech.
Two Anti virus protections fight each other on your computer. This leads to major conflict, which damages your computer...
Two Spyware protections also fights, not to mention two firewalls.
Please be informed that free Anti Virus protections are not strong enough to protect you against enormous hits. However, they will protect you against minor threats. Why? Because they're free.
If you want to be well protected. please purchase a full version of McAfee 2007 to protect you and your family against the most dangerous threats that are available for windows users...
Have a blessing day.
