This is not a personal issue, I and many other ex co workers have been mistreated. I have had a ex coworker of mine quit due to the mistreatment in the place I work at.The staff and the management treat people like nothing. Like there is no appreciation for some one who works hard. I haven't even gotten a raise for being bilingual. I fell like i should give notice but the assistant manager asks for me to stay, I fell as if i am lowering my self esteem by working here

Find a new job.

That is your choice when you do not like your job.

Depending on what state you live in, really means if you have any rights or not. I would not file any claim against the company, in your case. I would be looking for another job. It doesn't sound like any of your rights have been violated,( like sexual harrassment etc.) just your feelings. I always said I go to a job, to do my best. I'm not there to be liked, or to bould my self-esteem, I'm there to earn a living. ITry to make the best of things till an better opportunity comes along.

quit, its true that at a work place u will not always be treated fair. but if u feel it is now takin toll to ur self esteem the best thing to do is quit.. and if the assist. mang. insists in u stayin tell them u want better treatment and a raise.. but honestly u dont need all that. as a bilingual person u should reach higher, dont be afraid to get up and move. takin risks is wat takes u higher in the ladder

Talk with your coworkers about forming or joining a union. As soon as management hears talk of a union, oh boy will they start listening to you and your concerns.
