Best English group would have to be the Beatles.
As for song, it's probably Imagine from John Lennon. It's voted the 3rd best song of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. Even though Satisfaction from the Rolling Stones was voted ahead of Imagine, I still think Imagine is a much better song. I think Rolling Stone magazine gave the song to the Rolling Stones because they share almost the same name. Also, Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone was voted the best song of all time, so I think Rolling Stone magazine was more than bias. Eliminate those 2 songs because of bias, and Imagine would be #1.
