what does ( though sale ) mean ?
I read this sentence in a book : the same degree of concentration with a cool head and clear thinking , is needed if you are closing a though sale or trying to talk your boss into doing something your way.

Are you sure it isn't a typo? It seems like it should be 'closing a tough sale' not 'closing a though sale'. There isn't such a thing as a 'though sale'.
