All these hate preachers feel safe here as we do not have the death penalty. If he spouted the same rhetoric in Jordon he would no doubt be tried for promoting terrorism and executed. these people are only here to stir up trouble and are aided by idiots like Blair going to war against the UN decisions. The sooner both Abu Qatada and Blair's government are gone the better for us all, then hopefully the troops can come home and we can go back to as near normal relations with the Middle East Arab countries as before.

I do not know exactly who is Abu Qatada. But if he gave hatred in his preaching it was not the voice of muslims.Muslims in line with
islamic teaching should spread out salam or peace as the best hope of all muslims. We should pray for the safety and prosperity of all humans. We should love and help each other. But we should hate to the enemies of Islam who humiliated, accused without fact, attacked and killed innocent muslims.Muslims are not offensive. They are defendsive in line with Islam religion. He scared to go back to muslim country maybe he felt that he had
many sins because he was not on the right path.

I dare say it has something to do with all the benefits he claims from us, although his supporters would probably say that he is fearless and unafraid of spouting vitriol on our home soil. These extremists have no place in a civilised society so should be deported, but it seems our government wants the world to see it as a benign 'open' country who offers the hand of friendship to all. What the government and it's 'advisers' don't understand is that we, the public, have something to say about this but they refuse to listen. How many more of other country's dregs will we have to take in before they say enough?
