You don't believe "girls" - you believe in a person, or you don't. When you start considering people in groups rather than as individuals, you're always going to find SOMEONE who is an unpleasant person. If you want to believe in "girls," try learning more about a specific girl, and toss the stereotypes about females as a group.

first ask yourself what relationship you want to have with this person. 'girl' is rather insulting, try starting with 'woman', and be aware that first off the entity you deal with is a 'person' and not to be judged on basis of sex, or motivation towards sexuality. belief comes with trust, and trust is earned rather than conferred. so if another cannot trust or believe in you, do not expect they may offer any truth to you - you may not be judged worthy of such. in which case, I would recommend you stay away from the situation. this would be to your benefit, and hers.
