ok first off i haven't had a period for about 9 to 10 months. doctor was going to find out what was making me irregular but then my period suddenly came down on Jan. 7th. i was not on any sort of pills or anything. i actually started spotting off and on from December 31st or so till the 7th. my period lasted for two weeks or so, so about the 27th or 28th. it is now February 27th and no period. even though this was my first period, could i be pregnant? was it bleeding from being pregnant all a long (implantation bleeding) and that's why it was sudden and off and on? and how many weeks would i be now if so? for some who've read my post b4 i did have a pregnancy test with a line that was so light you would have to look for a minute to see it and that was within 5 minutes of taking the test. help?

Hope I don't hurt your feelings but to me, it sound like you may have had a miscarriage. Implant spotting last only for a day (maybe 2) and I know women can have a full fledged period for a couple of days while pregnant but it doesn't last for a solid 2 week. When I miscarried back in May I bled for 2 weeks. As well as some other people I know who opted to not have a dnc. I would advise you to go to your doctors and find out for sure. Because even if you were pregnant and lost it a hpt will still pick up on it until your levels drop all the way down and that could take a moment.

Well you hadn't had a period for 9-10 months, so NOW, you weren't pregnant the whole time. I don't think that was the cause of your delayed period, since you couldn't have been pregnant that whole time. You COULD have gotten pregnant about a month before the bleeding started and then miscarried, though, it just depends on whether you were still ovulating even though you weren't bleeding. And no, implantation doesn't last 2 weeks and it isn't as heavy as a period, and it wouldn't have happened after you were already pregnant for a while, it would have been within the first week. Sounds like you either had a miscarriage (but you weren't pregnant that whole 9-10 months, i'm sure you know) or just a longer period because you hadn't bled for so long. And since your periods were already being irregular, just because you're late again doesn;t mean you're pregnant. The only way to have a better idea is to talk to the doctor. I can't say for sure because I can't run any kinds of tests on you, but your doc can.

Sounds possible, take another test. There is also such a thing as a placebo pregnancy. Basically your body believes you are pregnant and goes through all the hormone changes etc. but there is no baby. This could also explain not having a period for so long. This would also cause a positive pregnancy test. Best to go to your doctor.

I would take another HPT...use first morning urine because it is the most concentrated.....If you had a faint line on the other test then I would have to say you are probably pregnant.....but I would take another one just to be sure...or you can go and have a blood test done....I dont think that bleeding was implantation bleeding, doesnt sound like it....and since you are so irregular it would be hard to determine exactly when you conceived....I would say find out first for sure if you are and then schedule a Dr. appt so they can do an ultrasound and find out how far along you are...Good Luck!

You need to have your doctor take a test .
Something to ask yourself . Have you had a lot of stress lately ?
Are you into sports , like running ect ?
Ask your doctor about all this , it is very important to be honest with your doctor !

Sounds like your period isn't very regular so it could just be that. Are u having unprotected sex? If so then ya you could be pregnant.
