Same problem here. I used to go to bed for sex and then get back up and stay up all night.

After 7 years now though, I just don't necessarily feel like doing it at 10 pm. For the most part, I go to bed at 5 am or so and my husband wants to do it then. It's no problem with me. He gets up a few hours later and I sleep for most of the day.

If we actually slept together all night, we'd drive each other crazy because we both snore. Who's the loudest depends on whose allergies are acting up worst at the time.

You can make the romance part work out ok, if you really try.

I'm in the same predicament as you! He's an early bird, I'm the nightowl (and midnight is early to me, but I go to bed then because I have to get up in the morning to work, on weekends, we're talkin' 3 or 4am before I see the goose down pillow!)

So! This is what I do! After we're home from work for about an hour (not every day, but every now and then), I go to the bedroom and act like I'm doing something, and I call him in the room. I'm bare *** naked and ready to give it to him. He takes the bait and is satisfied! There's also other things you can do, like lay in bed with him when he goes to bed and give him a massage until he's ready to fall asleep, then when he's satisfied with all of the attention that he is yearning for, kiss him, tell him you love him and get up and do what you normally do. All he wants is attention, recognition and appreciation. Good luck! I really hopes this works!

I've been married for 18 years and my wife and I have ALWAYS been that way. I'm an early riser (usually up by 6:00 am) and she's the night owl (up until midnight or later every night). I think you have to make time. Some nights, he can stay up longer for you, maybe some mornings, you can get up early with him.

It's called compromise, try it, you'll like it!

Find a happy medium so you can be mutually content and on the same page. For example, you could go to bed early with him a night or two every week and he could stay up late with you a night or two every week. If you can't find a happy medium, seek marriage counseling. This issue wont just go away by itself and it could cause deep bitterness between you over time if left unresolved.

Once you find an answer, email me willya? My wife and I have the same issue, but in reverse. She's out cold by 8:30-9:00. I'm up until about 12:00-12:30.

If you go to bed with your early bird, you're not gonna be going to sleep, so what's the problem? ;)
