A few that spring to mind:
Duck Soup (classic Marx Brothers comedy)
Dr Strangelove (all-time classic Cold War movie)
Apocalypse Now (semi-tongue-in-cheek Vietnam movie)
Donnie Darko (sort of like a darker version of Back to the Future - ok, there's a BIT of romance in this one but it's very much secondary)
Memento (Thriller about a man with amnesia, the scenes run in reverse chronological order)

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Robert Downy and Val Kilmer) - HILARIOUS!!!! Lots of cussing, though...
Lord of the RIngs, all 3 movies, extended editions
Fiddler on the Roof
The Producers (I saw the remake with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick)
The Others (Nicole Kidman)
The Sixth Sense (Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis)
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Michael Caine and Steve Martin)
Any Mel Brooks movie...
Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks)
Point of No Return (Bridget Fonda) good movie
The Professional (Jean Reno and Natalie Portman)
Mars Attacks (Jack Nicholson) I love this "parody" of old 50's Martian flicks.
In America (Paddy Consadine (sp?) and Samantha Morton) Another beautifully done movie.
Gangs of New York (DiCaprio) BLOODY but good.
Both Shreks. Second one is my fave.
Ok. There's a smattering of movies to get you started. :-)

Borat
Employee of the Month
Shawshank Redemption
American Pie...all of them, except the one that features "Stifflers little brother", he is a loser and the acting is terrible.
