Apparently alot of you didn't read the details... Consider this, we DO have a gravesite, but his name is mis-spelled on his tombstone... come on. Nobody would leave his name mis-spelled on his grave. Also reports say his casket was abnormally heavy. (in excess of 800lbs.) Now i know the man was overweight, but come on. Now I could go on with these little factiods, but thats why I originally said to back up your answers....

Well, the county medical examiner said, "Elvis was dead the last time I saw him" and I would tend to accept that. His lawyers and the family think he's dead, too.
As to his name: it's a custom in the southern US, it seems, to make up unusual names for kids sometimes. The circumstances escape me, but Elvis' name has something to do with his deceased twin brother, who died at birth.

If he isn't, why the sham? The whole family are Scientologists.
Is it the old he's hiding out and collecting the money? If he isn't dead, and it's found out, then I'll believe every rumor about dead celebrities.
The next dumb question would be is Anna Nicole really dead?

Elvis Presley, yes we have the grave. But that can't be the only Elvis in the world. What an aweful name!

yes i believe he is. i'm not sure how to back up my answers except to say he had a funeral viewed by many and that it's been 30 yrs now and no one has found him.
