When I dumbly agreed to met a guy that I met on Myspace, We talked for five months on the phone, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day, so I began to really care for him. Then he told me he unhappily married. That was such an awful feeling to hear that.
I didn't know what to do I basically went online researching the situation and yahoo answers is where I found advice. I broke up with him. That relationship is the only thing that brought here to Yahoo Answers. It has been a very therapeutic source. I no longer a member of Myspace.

I had a blind date with a guy and I dressed up well to make a good impression. He turned up in bermudas and t shirt and flip flops. He put his hands in his pockets the whole time we were walking to the resturant. When i tried to talk to him about his hobbies, he said that he liked to sleep the most coz he doesn't get enough sleep in his line of work! How was I going to continue the conversation from that??@!!! He is a doctor by the way! I was so pissed off that I went home straight after the dinner. Needless to say, we never contact each other after that meal!

Back in the 50's and 60's movies had very bright lights as you entered and exited the theater. I was dating a pre-med student, While coming out of the theater a MOTH FLEW (insect)I
FLEW INTO MY NOSE. I tried to blow the moth out of my nose, I COULD FEEL IT MOVING!!! I was trying so hard to not get my date's attention. He opened the passenger side auto door for me. As he was going around the auto, I got a tissue from my purse, had NO LUCK getting the moth to move. By that time my eye was watering.... As my date was entering the auto he looked at me and said "Oh. now you are crying, it was a SAD movie". I had to tell him what had happened. His first responce was "we need to go to the emergency room at the hospital"!!! I did start crying then and low and behold the MOTH FLEW OUT OF MY NOSE.. I heard later that my date did become a DOCTOR OF INTERNAL MEDICINE.

We'd met on-line and thought it would be interesting to have a blind date. We spoke on the phone about 4 or 5 times, the conversations were interesting but I sensed some thing wasn't quiet right about this guy.
Anyway, we were to meet at a local restaurant. We described what color of clothing we would be wearing, hair color, and such so not to confuse whom we were to meet.
My date described himself as athletic, in good shape, early 40's, very handsome, former football player.
So in walks this older man using a cane, wearing the clothing as described. I thought it was just coincidental............NOT!
The man was in his late 60's, had full blown Parkinson's, and was living with his mother.

Going on a blind date and all he could talk about was himself and how he thought my bestfriend was hot. You would think people could show a little class.
