Yes that was a favorite of mine as well. Anything that my mother read to me from my big white Mother Goose book was great. I had that thing memorized by the time I was 3. I sure wish I still had that book. I can still remember what it smelled like.

When my sister and I were very small, my father read to us nearly every night. My favorites were out of a book of folk tales of all nations--a new story each time. Dad told us that if we learned to read, we could read the stories we liked any time we wanted!
