whats a tube?... lol yes, I used to do that at the Thrifty Drug store and they also sold the new tubes.

Yeah, plenty of times. I used 2 go thru 6L6 power tubes w/my Fender amps playin in rock'n'roll & rhythm'n'blues bands when I was in high school. that was at the beginning of rock'n'roll. 'Course all the radios & hki-fi's had tubes too...b4 the age of the transistor..b4 even, stereos...there was only mono, & hi-fi was the latest thing...if u remember that, ur showin ur age, cuz that was a long time ago!

yes, but the fact is that my great-grandfather was the 1st tv repairman in town, and he taught me how easy it was to fix tvs (back THEN, lol)
