Old ladies are allowed to hit you. You aren't allowed to hit back.
One does not wear revealing clothing to church.
One does not proposition a girl in front of her parents.
Don't tell the boss that his wife is HOT.
Don't wear the same dress as the hostess of a party.
Avert your eyes if you see dogs mating, or "doing their business".
Never laugh at a funeral.
Don't peek behind the curtains of the next hospital bed.
Don't correct other people's children.
Always give your seat up to an elderly person.
Do not ask people how much they earn.
Do not stare at strangers.
When you answer the phone, you have to talk first.
Walk on the right-hand side of the sidewalk, and down the right-handed side of the stairs. (In America. In countries where they drive on the left side of the road, you walk down the left side of the walk. I don't know why.)

Don't push those old ladies away when you get onto a bus.
Don't tell anybody your bank account number and password on the bus.

Don't tell anybody you forgot your password and you must wait for another bus now. I mean that's boring.
I did all that, b/c I believed they were unwritten rules of the society.

Keeping a specified "distance". People dont like their space invaded. Ever feel uncomfortable when someone you don't know gets too close. (EX: Elevator) Also, if you enter an elevator and don't face forward it makes people go nuts.
